State to award grants to regional schools
The state will give $450,000 in school district regionalization planning and implementation grants, Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Murray announced yesterday. The grants will go to eight districts statewide, including $300,000 for Ayer-Shirley, to fund transition costs for a new, recently approved regional district.
